Angelina Jolie

She's been called everything from humanitarian to home wrecker. When there's a "most beautiful women" list in circulation she's usually on it. And in 2005, on the set of Mr and Mrs. Smith, it would appear she finally met her "most beautiful man." Brad Pitt has since become adoptive father of her child and they now have a child of their own, Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt.

Jolie has two previous marriages to former co-stars Billy Bob Thornton and Jonny Lee Miller. During her marriage to Thornton, the spouses each wore a vial of the other's blood around their necks.

As the daughter of actor Jon Voight, she learned the acting ropes while growing up in Hollywood but the father/daughter relationship has been rocky ever since. Her early work in "Girl Interrupted" propelled her to win the Golden Globe, the SAG Award, and the Academy Award for best leading actress in a supporting role. She then became known world-wide for her leading role as Lara Croft in Tomb Raider in which she briefly shared the screen with her estranged father.

One of the Croft movie's filming locations was Cambodia where, Jolie became a first-hand witness to the poverty there and later adopted a young Cambodian refugee. Jolie has since stated that she plans to spend most of her time in humanitarian efforts to be financed by her actress salary and that she devotes one third of her income to savings, one third to living expenses, and one third to charity.

Determined to outsmart the paparazzi Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie recently sold a baby photo of their new daughter to the press and donated the huge sum to charity.
