David Lawrence: Okay, so go get yourself Norton Utilities and use the Unerase function in Norton Utilities and hopefully if it hasn*t overwritten the files, you will be able to recover them.

And it*s telling me that I don*t have permissions to basically access my web server.
David Lawrence: And this IIS running on your local machine not on a server somewhere else, yes.

David Lawrence: Okay so what need to do, are you the administrator on that machine?
Bill: yeah.
David Lawrence: Okay you need to go into your Rules, your Security Rules and make sure that IIS has its own set of security rules over and above because it*s web services even though it*s on your local machine. It has its own set of security rules over and above the main machines admin rules and so on. You need to go in as administrator and make sure that you have complete read and write capabilities with IIS itself, not just the disc that it relies on?
Bill: Yeah.

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
