David Lawrence: So do you have like 256 megs on that machine because usually it's just slightly over what kind of RAM you have on the machine?
Mack: Well I actually have a gig of RAM. I installed Maxtor 512 myself.
David Lawrence: Right and it recognizes it, right?
Mack: Yeah it recognizes it, because I need it to play certain games online. So I went and installed that myself. I install a new graphics card and it's something have like 1400 megabytes space but 300 that I am using when I am running any application during at night, browsing or doing anything. You know it's seem like lot and we get pop ups occasionally. I just want to know if there are virus or ---
David Lawrence: First of all I don*t think that*s a lot. #1, I don*t think that*s very large, but #2 I mean when you have anything that is increasing the space because it's running because there is a process that*s running. I mean you have looked obviously at your task manager and you have looked at process list and you have seen what*s running, yes.
Mack: Yeah I have done that. There is a whole bunch of stuff, I mean I have actually device in my first year I mean so, I don*t know everything --
David Lawrence: You won*t learn everything, you won*t learn everything until you are second year. It*s then you will know everything.
Mack: I am trying but you know I don*t know what all that stuff means and I do half mingers, I don*t know you know if maybe if something was a virus and it's running you know all the time.
David Lawrence: Well what kind of anti-virus software do you have running on the machine?
Mack: That*s a nice thing. We have Norton Anti-virus, that was my second question actually you know well it*s subscription ran out we never renewed it. But I went to Ad-Aware and I have downloaded that and we have been using that for a couple of months.
David Lawrence: That*s not anti-virus software that*s anti-SpyWare software.
Mack: Okay.
David Lawrence: And although the divisions between the two are getting blurry at times, what you really need is Panda.

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
