Anything that deals with things that click and beep and whirr and buzz and now apparently moan. You heard about this, right? You know you can buy ringtone, ringtones are just exploding. I mean huge market for pop music and popular sound effects and so on to be your ringtones as opposed to just simple rings that come with your cell phone. Huge business that labels have gone with licensing, pop music for ringtones. And along comes Jenna Jameson who is going to be offering sort of you know her own brand of moaning for tones and she is calling them Moan Tones. Now she doesn*t have that URL. She doesn*t have moantones.com and that belongs to some guy named Nick up in Canada and I am sure that the Wicked Wireless which is the company that she works with has been trying to get that domain from him for a while but you know that*s what happens if you go to moanstones.com.
But that*s going on and a whole bunch of other things and this was the week that I upgraded my production machine, the machine that I used to do all the production here on the show. You know, you kind of don*t want to lag behind on upgrading to the latest and greatest on production machines. Because you don*t want to take the risk that getting two advanced will screw up your production schedule. So I just upgraded my PowerBook 12-inch from 10.2.8 to 10.3.2.
Now I know the latest is 10.3.7 but since I use Pro Tools on this 12 inch machine and Digidesign would rather you stay at 10.3.2 with Panther well then that*s well stay. So things seem to be working out pretty well. I did an upgrade path as opposed to wiping the slate clean as starting from scratch. But the more I think about it and I may end up doing that I mean it is working okay but I have still got some wicked little ghost going on with Office X and I may just upgrade to Office 2004 and be done with it and just install it fresh and clean and pretty. Well that*s going on and the upgrade path to a Pro Tool 6.4 was just perfect. Worked very, very well. There is a new set of things in Pro Tools that will be fun to explore so I am looking forward to that and then also the decision has been made. I am going, thank you. I am going with the one touch UltraSmart, for my glucometer for some of you that have been listening for a while now. You know that back in December I like many Americans have been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes and of course I looked at it as yet another way to get a new little gadget. You know my glucometer is also a PDA apparently so I looked at the ones that were available and that was the one that I went with and certainly during the course of the show you have suggestions for me, feel free we have already made some drastic changes to lifestyle here at the palatial Lawrence Estate. So I went back to my second sort of follow up and my blood pressure was down to normal like 122/80. My pulse was down, my weight was down by about 40 pounds. Every indicator good, you know Triglycerides and Cholesterol and bad Triglycerides all the stuff. Everything was back to within the normal range and the doctors are like what are you showing off and I am like no. It*s my new UltaSmart, my new one touch UltraSmart it keeps me on the straight now. 14 minutes passed the hour let*s kick things off at 180039 online 18003966546 we go to Steve. Steve you are Online Tonight with David Lawrence, hello

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
