David Lawrence: What I am waiting for is somebody to say the reason this phone won an award is because you can make and get cell phones rely so called reliably.

Brian Cooley: What about that? Getting as if not having to say oh I can*t hear you, you dropped out what did you just say you know wouldn*t that be great.

David Lawrence: No but of course it*s not depended on the phone it*s depended on the cell system and the noise.

Brian Cooley: I think I am not a fan of digital phones too bad its all there is these days. But digital sound is awful you know that. The analog phone is just lushes but of course they took up a 40 channel where whatever it was. So it*s too bad but I have just the old analog phones.

David Lawrence: Well as more and more people are using cell phones now we are approaching here in the United States more cell phone usage than landlines. Lot of people are dropping landlines in favor of a cell phone only life style.

Brian Cooley: Yeah you can do that in some cases.

David Lawrence: In some cases you can and once that happens you have so many people using the system, so many people sharing the frequencies, so many people doing Frequency Hopping that the noise flow starts to rise. And once the noise flow starts to rise that*s when the degradation begins.

Brian Cooley: Oh interesting.

David Lawrence: That*s when things have been happening because you get so much chopping going on of the different frequency along the system that yeah.

Brian Cooley: Flipping and handing off over and over and over.

David Lawrence: Yeah you know who pointed that out was this guy Doug that started DGex. What*s his last name I can*t remember his name. He started the company and then sold it off to whoever bought them and then bought it back again and sold it again.

Brian Cooley: I think our shift is coming up.

David Lawrence: Yeah I think so we were very near, we were here at the CES we were very near a group of people who do get away from the car kind of alarms one of which is an air horn, a train horn. You know and they set it off every so often. And you know we have made all the jokes.
