Patrick Hinojosa: Exactly depending on the phone operating system like I said they are probing. They are trying to find the holes in the fence on their operating systems. Now it*s fairly young endeavor at this point.
David Lawrence: Look at superman there you go, okay got it. Right so go ahead.
Patrick Hinojosa: Yeah so they are going to find vulnerabilities as operating systems get more prevalent and they get more complex on the mobile devices. There will be holes, people will find them very ingenious some of these guys and so there will be a growing problem.
David Lawrence: So you were saying.
Patrick Hinojosa: So as we connect to more and more devices and they are going to have operating systems and we are going to transfer files and someone*s going to find a way to and bet something on a file for one device that*s going to activate on another device.
David Lawrence: Well there are already ways of pretending to be an MP3 file. We have seen them download it off KaZaa. We have seen them download it off of other services like that, that are actually Trojans as opposed to MP3.
Patrick Hinojosa: Yeah and the cell phones Trojans. Now, okay go to the site this is a cool application.
David Lawrence: Right. I mean, I don*t want to give hackers any idea but this seems to be a pretty straightforward approach.
Patrick Hinojosa: Yeah so it*s only a matter of finding the different vulnerabilities and then creating something for it. So like I said it*s a young endeavor at this point and as more and more of these guys turn their attention towards it and whatever talents they have in their time, it will be a growing problem.
David Lawrence: Now there is a trade off and I have heard it over and over and over again on the Saturday Night Show when people call in and talk about different anti-virus software, yours included. There is a trade off to being safe and the trade off is performance.
Patrick Hinojosa: Correct, it*s similar to the trade off, if you have like access control. You know Biometric control in building. So how much control do you have in this case of performance of people going in and out of the building? You can have total security and no one gets in and out, for a computer nothing happens. You can operate it.
David Lawrence: It just shuts down.

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
