David Lawrence: Alright fine. So over cell phones is there a threat?
Patrick Hinojosa: Sure there was one of new variant today what the Skulls virus.
David Lawrence: What was the variant? What did it do?
Patrick Hinojosa: It tried to take out--
David Lawrence: This is the one that comes over Bluetooth, right?
Patrick Hinojosa: No this is download it*s a download.
David Lawrence: Oh it*s a download, SMS?
Patrick Hinojosa: Yes.
David Lawrence: Oh okay, alright.
Patrick Hinojosa: SIS, it*s an SIS file.
David Lawrence: There is one though that attempts to seek out other devices via Bluetooth though.
Patrick Hinojosa: Yeah if you have Bluetooth, if your device is turned on to you know like accessible as opposed to you are not accessible to other devices.
David Lawrence: What did they call that Toothing or something? What was that it was like big deal at some point it was Toothing and then kind of what the wayside.
Patrick Hinojosa: Yeah and because most devices by default do not allow any connection from other Bluetooth devices but they are out there trying. I mean there is a new variant today for a download file like a Trojan type file so that people are actively working on trying to make this work on the cell phones and they will get it right at some point especially as the operating systems expand in functionality they will find it whole. So and in the phones people are going to sync them up to their computer on and on you know download their files and their contact files. So there is going to be a lot of cross pollination of files.
David Lawrence: Can you infect an SD disk? When I think about how my Kyocera 7135 transfers data its not only via the USB Port but I also have a faster card reader/writer you know the universal one like one from SanDisk or whatever. And I will drop you know MP3 files onto an SD using the reader and then put the reader you know the disk into my phone and that seems to me to be an open contour as well.

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
