Previously: David Lawrence Unplugged for 1/10/2005: the premium podcast feed of The David Lawrence Show >>
Next: Apple releases the hounds, iPod shuffle and the Mac Mini >>
Laura Burstein: Really? Man!
David Lawrence: You know hey you know you might want to do is find out the guy from Creative Labs is going to be your--.
Scott Sheppard: But it will be a co-party. Its sponsored by of course us and Macworld Magazine and Other World Computing so it should be really go geek.
David Lawrence: So rumors this week up coming, what rumors have you heard about the iPod, PowerBooks?
Scott Sheppard: There are so many rumors now that everything*s big blended mix of who knows what.
David Lawrence: The biggest rumor is Flash iPod.
Scott Sheppard: That and there are some other rumors about some Headless iMacs but you know I sort of look at the rumor things like opening your Christmas presents early, peeking, you know it*s like yeah we don*t want to know till Tuesday.
David Lawrence: Well one thing that Apple did this year that they haven*t done before is they started suing people. I mean before they handled it like we don*t comment on unannounced products that*s their typical line. You talk to anybody in the PR department, they rehearse that line all day long and yet now they are actually going after people. Does that lend credence to the rumors? Or is that just basically Apple saying enough is enough or maybe they have got you know there is a method to their madness. They are just drawing more attention to the rumors themselves.
Scott Sheppard: Steve doesn*t want the information leaked because he wants that certain amount of press and all the hype that goes around with Macworld and they start leaking it and it*s blowing his party.
David Lawrence: One could look at this as like you know the more attention that*s drawn to this because unless you can help to draw attention to it, the more people will conjecture, the more they will talk about it.
Scott Sheppard: And psychology, yeah so you never know.
Laura Burstein: I think a lot of people are starting to look at this as a parameter whether it*s right or wrong you know. You can tell how true rumor is by how many people Apple sue and it will be interesting to see what happens.
David Lawrence: Laura Burstein and Scott Sheppard from the Inside Mac Radio and they will be at Macworld all this week. So go over to, yes?
Scott Sheppard: And also we will be joined with Desmond Crisis with us soon.
David Lawrence: Oh cool, awesome. Alright when we come back we are going to talk to PMS the psychotic man slayers, all female gaming clan right here on the David Lawrence show: More in a moment

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
