David Lawrence: But not all of them have been together they told me that. So I am going to continue with this delusion that I have that this wonderful human interest story is part of what*s going on. So basically they met up for the very first time ever. They in fact they didn*t even know that all of them were girls until they met up here at the show. It's a gaming clan that is here for the Xbox challenge and so we are going to talk to them and look at their hot box for a while. And then Jennifer Smart is going to be with us America*s newest broadcast sensation. She is going to be delivering her perspective on the CES show through the eyes of, she is 7?
Voice: 8
David Lawrence: An 8 year old. What does it like to have everything taller than you in the entire space and then also coming up on the show we are going to talk to the people from Smart Video to look at video-to-go and whether not it's truly ready for prime time and you can actually now I will tell you on that new Dell that Axim.
Scott Sheppard: That is cool.
David Lawrence: That would be fun to watch video on because that*s got a good video screen for the first time you know VGA Screen this big you know that works. So Scott Sheppard from Inside Mac Radio and osxfaq.com what did you see here at the show that you just adore?
Scott Sheppard: I think the DLP projection technology with the projectors. There is just so much stuff it*s overwhelming.
David Lawrence: With the DLPs?
Scott Sheppard: With everything, the whole show. There are so many cool things that it's very hard to put a finger on what you think cool is.
David Lawrence: Do you think that DLP of all of the ways of delivering HDTV you know DLP, LCD, Plasma etc. do you think that DLP has the best chance of showing people just how clean and crisp?
Scott Sheppard: No I don*t think so. I just think that it's very high quality and the price is more economical than LCD and Plasma. Of course you know what they have here a 100 inch Plasma well then now is a 107 inch but it's like about 45K.
David Lawrence: Yeah $45,000. What*s your beef?
Scott Sheppard: I am sure you could use one at the modern broadcast center in beautiful Hollywood California.
David Lawrence: No I wouldn*t want to pull one of those in there. I want to, you know what I would want to stay probably 2 or 3 steps behind the market because the people that are nuts in Los Angeles, the people who live up in the hills you know up on Mulholland Drive and Coldwater Canyon and all of but those are the one*s that are going to spend the 45,000. But that means they have got to replace the $10,000 Plasma that they have got up on the wall now. And that $10,000 Plasma isn*t going in the trash it's going on eBay or it's going you know there is going to be an ad in the paper where the assistant is going to be given the directive to dispose off this and get as much for it as you can, right.

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
