Ramie: I got a phone and one of my friends send me a video and I was wandering if there a place or somewhere I can download software, so that my phones could play that.
David Lawrence: If the phone isn*t equipped and I don*t believe that Sanyo 8100 is equipped to do video. Then it wont play, it should show you the first frame of it though.
Ramie: Yeah I saw it though.
David Lawrence: Yeah so, now usually you have to have a machine, a phone that has that build into the Firmware or is a PDA phone like a Pocket PC phone or Palm phone that you can download and have to do that. But there are phones coming out from Sanyo in particular I think there is a new phone called the M40 or something and it is designed to do video to take pictures, to take video little snip it*s a video on the phone itself. So there*s just some really, really wicked things coming from cell phones in the next year and I am I can*t wait. I just can*t wait, I wish I had a better news for you but no, there is really nothing you can do. John you are online tonight with David Lawrence hello.
Maryann: No this is Maryann
David Lawrence: Maryann hold on one second, would you please Maryann alright that*s Maryann holding very nice John hello.
John: Hi.
David Lawrence: Hi there.
John: What it called about is I work with topography maps in my job and we have a new Delta computer and we have a second monitor we want to add that to it so that we can see a bigger view of the map. I am going to have to add a second video card. Well what can you tell me about compatibilities, we use XP professional.
David Lawrence: Well you can either add a second video card or you can replace the video card that you already have with one that handles dual monitors. In fact before you replace the video card unless you have already done this you might want to check to see if the video card you have got already handles multiple monitors. It may usually it doesn*t but it may you never know specially*
John: Yeah there is only one port out of it.
David Lawrence: Okay so then you can replace that one or as you said get another one, slide that into the cage and you are good to go. Once you do that your monitor*s control panel will take care of how you want to position those monitors left and right, top and bottom where the menu bar will occur and so on. And it is good across all applications. Now I see up here on the screen you are concerned about AutoCAD.
John: That*s the one I use with the _______50.40 we have had.
David Lawrence: Yeah there shouldn*t be any reason why AutoCAD reacts any differently than anything else. The only category that I do have concerns about when it comes to dual monitors is games because games don*t usually expect there to be*

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
