I got a piece of E-mail from Ken Lenihan who says dear David love your show this is Ken from Hanover Park. I am assuming you are listening on the Mighty WGM in Chicago. Allow me to explain to my brother-in-law and myself are two older guys that are attempting to get computers some semblance of computer savvy. I think I understand that sentence. Bob lives Paris, Illinois and we exchange ideas and information. Some info we receive from friends we question such as will it harm the hard drive if we defrag too soon and too often. Is there any validity to that argument? No I mean you are not going to hurt the hard drive by defragging there is no difference in the actions of a defragment tool and just simply writing and reading you know information on and off of a website or on and off of a hard drive. But I do question whether or not you get any sort of speed out of it anymore because hard drives are so large and the files that we are using are usually around the same size or unless you are dealing with audio or video like I do and then defragmentation is very important because the data has to be picked up of the hard drive very quickly. So no, there*s no validity to the argument that you will harm the hard drive if you defragment too soon I don*t know what that means, too soon from the last defragmentation, maybe and too often. No, you won*t hurt it at all, in fact it*s good for the drive. 180039 online is our telephone number Ramie you are online tonight with David Lawrence hello.

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
