Ken: I can*t even get on the web to do on that.
David Lawrence: Okay so let me clear on something are you using Dial-up or are you using --
Ken: No I have DSL.
David Lawrence: And you are sure you are connecting via DSL you don*t even have a phone number going, a phone line going into your machine. You are going into a DSL modem correct.
Ken: Yeah I go into a modem went through Ethernet and the computer.
David Lawerence: Gotch you.
Ken: And I have Verizon and I call them today and had them seeing my machine and they were telling me that was running fine. And they gave me a website to try to that would thrust my speed and that a Verizon website I went to that and I was running at 800 and well for about 890 some thousand bit per second.
David Lawrence: Great so your speed once you are online is good to the router which is a modem but not to the machine itself.
Ken: Right it*s running, the speed is running fine but the problem I am here and as I think it*s the Internet Explorer.
David Lawrence: Well hold on let me just let me do some diagnosis here, okay before you tell me what you think it is. Do you have anti-virus software on your machine?
Ken: Now a days of yes, --- ask them to reload him.
David Lawrence: Okay I would stop for just a second let me just ask you questions, these will be simple yes or no*s.
Ken: Okay.
David Lawrence: Do you have a personal Firewall on your machine.
Ken: Yes.
David Lawrence: Which one?
Ken: I got it through Dogus, I forget what the name of it was.
David Lawrence: If it*s not ZoneAlarm why are you using it? Just simply yes or no.
Ken: I didn*t know.
David Lawrence: Then the next one is do you have a router on your machine?

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
