Andy: It could be fine.
David Lawrence: Yeah well so is that you couldn*t even read your own, correct.
Andy: No, no it could read mine I am a doctor.
David Lawrence: I understand that but that*s my point, you yourself with your glasses your eyes you couldn*t even read your own handwriting. But the Newton could.
Andy: Okay so the new stuff can do that okay.
David Lawrence: Absolutely and in particular Pocket PC is very good at that. I have learned how to do Graffiti and it seems to be just as quick as me writing letters normally, in fact some cases the number of strokes are less. For example in A, use only an inverted V, I supposed you have inverted V plus a bar. So learning Graffiti is actually pretty easy to do. Most of the time it*s the exact same strokes and that*s on Palm. Now the issue is Palm has said at least they have claimed that they are no longer going to support the Mac OS platform. Now I don*t know whether it*s a threat I don*t know how true it is because the new version that came out still supports Macintosh. So I don*t know when they said 2005 there*s been no indication that they are going to seize but they have said they will. On the other hand Pocket PC has never officially you know Microsoft has never officially supported the Mac platform with Pocket PC. However there is a website, our good friends run it down to San Diego called PocketMac.
Andy: Alright.
David Lawrence: And they do syncing between Pocket PC*s, between BlackBerries, Handspring. They use iSync as their bases and they will sync with Entourage, Now Contact, mail, calendar etc. So you know it*s, there is options on both sides. I would think that given the fact that you want to do things medically with your Pocket PC.
Andy: Yeah bring a medical note practice.
David Lawrence: Yeah what I would do then is I would look very long and hard at the new Pocket PC phones. Because you can do both, you can have, you know both Pocket PC, so looking at the new Samsung, not the i700 but the new one the flip phone.
Andy: Looking at the HP the one I was reading about in the new Pocket PC.
David Lawrence: The iPAQ.
Andy: Yeah there is an iPAQ.
David Lawrence: Sure and that uses Windows Mobile Phone Editions so --
Andy: Yeah.
David Lawrence: Yeap, so that will work and if you get yourself a Pocket Mac either they are syncing program or the more expensive one either one will work and it will be good to go.

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
