Okay I don*t know what part of town father Bill is in, but there are some absolutely great restaurants in the Dupont circle area, downtown towards Capital Hill. It depends if you are if you are out in the Chevy Chase area, there is some great stuff on where Constant Avenue right there as it crosses over Western, that*s one thing I do miss about being in Los Angeles.

Von Schtupp: Houston*s.

David Lawrence: Yeah Houston, I was thinking of things that you only get in Washington DC because if this has ever been to San Francisco if this has been in LA. Houston*s is all over the place.

Von Schtupp: What*s the one that we had that lunch meeting at that was so pretty downtown that used to be owned by somebody same as, I can*t think of who it was, but the I kept commenting when you had to walk downstairs to the bathroom how gorgeous the art d*cor stuff was in there.

David Lawrence: Well there is the Capital City Grill.

Von Schtupp: Capital City Grill.

David Lawrence: Yeah that*s just beautiful and then there is Ted Lyons* place which is you know who know that Ray Everett Church, what you are witnessing now is 6 degree of separation between Ray Everett Church and Father Bill Kessler, who wrote our 10quicksteps guide to a seeking An Annulment. But those are some great places to go and then there is some great world tours traps and so forth. Let*s see here E-mail from John Jenson who listens to the show in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. What*s the difference in URL*s when a subsection is named before the domain as opposed to after the slash for example David.typepad.com versus VisitorVille.com/david is that something that anyone can do who has a hosted domain name account or does it depend on the host. Yes it depends on the host, the David.typepad.com it was actually just very specifically a choice by typepad.com to make all of their subscribers sub-domains, the difference by the way between those two, one is a sub-domain fu.bar.com, fu is the sub-domain, bar is the domain name itself. And then the other is called the sub-directory. VisitorVille.com/david there is actually a folder inside their web server at root level called /David, lot easier to do that than sub-domain. Sub-domains require DNS word, they require special settings on the servers and yes that is done by the ISP. And it is kind of hard because some people don*t get that they don*t grok sub-domains very well. I will say okay if you want to follow my acting career and see what is going on here in Los Angeles you can go to my acting blog which is david.typepad.com. And they go now wait a minute is that www.david.typepad.com which will work but no it is actually just david.typepad.com and it is kind of tough. That*s why lot of these top level domain do they coming out with it, that iCANN is coming out with are going to confuse the heck out of people. *.Museum*, *.mobi* from mobile services those are coming to be added to *.com* and *.biz* and *.net* and *.US* and *.info* and . you know all of dots. People grok dotcom. They always have, they always will, get kind of *.net*, they kind of get that. They kind of get *.org* but they don*t really quite understand the vast majority of people don*t really quite understand the syntax of something other than www.domain name.com or net. It is just, it is hard for them to understand but you know that*s learning that sort of thing is important because as time goes on it just going to get more and more important.
