I also we got an instant message from Father Bill Kessler, who is an iPAQ user and Outlook user and Outlook Express user and so on and says that Pocket Outlook is in the all the iPAQs or all iPAQs have it. But it can’t be done what you want it to do, which you all wanted to do it can’t be with Hotmail. You can do it with your normal IMAP accounts, with Outlook Express. And there is also a number of pieces of third party software, if you ever wanted to go to Outlook Express things like SyncExpress as an example. You can also put Cheryl if you are still listening, you can also put Pocket Hotmail on your iPAQ so there you go. Now if you want to access your Hotmail messages directly through Outlook 2000, there is Pocket Hotmail or http mail provider and that’s just looking around on the net trying to sniff out some solutions for you and that’s what we have found. So go look up Pocket Hotmail and see what that’s all about.
Back to the phones at 1800-39 online or 1800-396-6546, we will talk with Johnny. Johnny you are online tonight with David Lawrence, hello.
Johnny: Oh hi David.
David Lawrence: Hi there.
Johnny: I have get you a question about the Garageband I purchased this thing earlier this year at Macworld and I have been trying to get it work with my PC which works on PCs to MAC, at the eMac G4. And the way I have that setup is once I have a Garageband into the system and getting it up and right. I have a special interface so I put my two MIDI cords in, inputs outputs, outputs inputs and-
David Lawrence: And that goes in the USB connector right?
Johnny: Yeah.
David Lawrence: Okay.
Johnny: Okay and but for some reason it’s not working. I have got a Roland D10 keyboard and also I sent you an E-mail concerning all of this earlier this week, which you sent me an auto-Email about.
David Lawrence: Right saying to call me on the show. I don’t know why your interface wouldn’t be working, what interface is it?
Johnny: What do you mean?
David Lawrence: The interface between the MIDI and the USB. What interface box are you using?
Johnny: Well, it has a USB thing on it.
David Lawrence: Right what brand is it?
Johnny: That’s what I am looking at. I will kind of find it here because I purchased it at Macworld earlier in the year.
David Lawrence: Okay well that's what I wanted to know because if you have got a device that may or may not be compatible with the Macintosh you will need to change that, but it’s a MIDI sequencer or a MIDI interface. What is it?
Johnny: Well I am trying to find out the name here.
David Lawrence: Alright.
Johnny: Hold on.

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
