Thanks for tuning into the show 23 minutes past the hour my name is David Lawrence and before we went into the break we were talking with Cheryl who has an iPAQ and desktop machine to try to sync up the E-mail. Now right now when you sync up, you are syncing up your calendar, your contacts pretty easily correct.
Cheryl: Right.
David Lawrence: Are you under the assumption that your E-mail should be syncing up?
Cheryl: Yes.
David Lawrence: Okay. What leads you to think that?
Cheryl: Well I was, the application is such that to just you punch in the address from the contacts that you know address and the contacts.
David Lawrence: No I understand that, I understand how to do E-mail in draft form on it. But what, I am just trying to figure out where the disconnect is here between you and I. Where did you read or what was told you or what software might have you installed on your iPAQ that leads you to believe that when you sync up your E-mail gets synced up as well?
Cheryl: Well Microsoft Outlook thing, it was already on the iPAQ.
David Lawrence: So you have Outlook?
Cheryl: Yes.
David Lawrence: Okay, do you have Pocket Outlook?
Cheryl: Let me check.
David Lawrence: Because that’s the other side of that and there is a setting in Pocket Outlook that says when I sync, sync up my E-mail. Now what very well might have happened is you don’t have Pocket Outlook which I would be very surprised is the case. And then the one setting on there and I don’t use it so I don’t know exactly where it is but the one setting that is on there that let’s you set that up is sync my E-mail when I sync my iPAQ. Now if you were saying that, you told me before the break that you were using Outlook Express.
Cheryl: That’s what’s on the desktop.
David Lawrence: Right now Outlook and Outlook Express are two completely different animals.
Cheryl: Oh, it is not Express, pardon me, it is Outlook 2000.

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
